Gianna Walters

My name is Gianna Walters. I am currently in 8th grade at River Trails Middle School, and will attend John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois, with a graduation year of 2028. I am a multi-sport student athlete. I swam competitively for 5 years, and in 2023 had decided to focus more time on school, softball, and middle school sports. I have enjoyed competing alongside my teammates in cross country, volleyball, and track, as well as with my travel softball team (KR Fastpitch - Premier). I was an IESA state qualifier in cross country in both 2022 and 2023, and in track in 2023; and hope to qualify again in track this spring.
I am a dedicated student with a GPA of 5.75/6.00 and on the high honor roll. I also am a member of the Leadership Club at my school. In high school, I would like to play both softball and volleyball, and I aspire to play softball in college. My primary positions are CF and pitcher. I also enjoy playing 1B and 3B. My hobbies include: spending time with friends and family, working out, drawing, and reading.
